“What does neoliberalism feel like?”

Wunderkinder, directed by Anni Klein and written by Johannes Ekholm, was premiered at the Stage festival in Helsinki on the 17th of August 2016. It is a production by Swedish-speaking Teater 90° and it was performed in an office space in the borough of Kallio. Discussion with Anni Klein by Janina Rajakangas and Tuomas Laitinen, in Finnish.

Constanza Macras: I am with you

“Like this picture of the Syrian boy that is everywhere… it could totally be faked and that would not make it less interesting… After seeing millions of pictures of dismembered children you have to stage it in order to make it work. You need it to enter the language of publicity.”
