Anna-Mari Karvonen: Amor Fati & Peggy Pickit ser Guds ansikte

Amor Fati by Anna-Mari Karvonen and Anni Puolakka was performed at Kiasma Theatre in September 2017 and Karvonen’s direction Peggy Picket ser Guds ansikte premiered at Svenska Teatern in January of the same year. Esitysradio saw Amor Fati in Kiasma and Peggy Pickit ser Guds Ansikte at Tampere Theare Festival in August.  The discussion with Karvonen, by Janina Rajakangas and Tuomas Laitinen, is in Finnish.

Eino Saari / Vaara Collective & Kajaani Town Theatre: The Touch of Man

“Touching other men is a great deal easier and more natural to me than it was before I started this.”

The Touch of Man, a documentary theatre piece by Kajaani City Theatre and Vaara-collective, visited Stoa in Helsinki on 29th-30th of September 2017. The Touch of Man is based on tens of interviews the director Eino Saari conducted with Finnish men and experts, on their personal history of touching and the culture of male touch in general. Janina Rajakangas and Tuomas Laitinen from Esitysradio had a discussion with Saari, in Finnish.
