“If one walks on an open area and the arrives at the edge of the forest and the forest starts to thicken, one moves into an altogether other kind of state, in which space, time and thinking is arranged in different way. Maybe there could be something like this between dance and language.”
Dance performance and performance installation Katkelma 468 (Fragment 468) by dance artist Veli Lehtovaara was performed in August 2019 in an empty oil container on the shores of Helsinki. Janina Rajakangas and Tuomas Laitinen met Lehtovaara few weeks later.
